Handcrafted Sustainable jewellery - created
just for you.
My name is Barbara Blane and I'm an artist & jeweller living in Northern Ireland.
I create handcrafted jewellery designs which explore natural textures and forms - with a focus on using sustainable materials such as recycled silver and gold.
I like to create tactile designs which inspire curiosity and can be worn to any occasion.
In addition to my collection of work, I also create bespoke designs for clients – such as for weddings and other special occasions.
Working with traditional tools and techniques allows to me have a hands-on approach which gives each piece of jewellery a unique & personal touch.
Sustainable Jewellery
Made with Recycled Precious Metals
I graduated from the University of Ulster Art College with a BA Hons in Contemporary & Applied Arts, having specialised in Jewellery Design & Silversmithing.
It's very important to me that I make environmentally responsible decisions as I take so much inspiration from nature & the world around me. For this reason I use a lot of recycled sterling Silver & Gold for my collections.
Working with environmentally sourced precious metals allow me to produce high quality sustainable jewellery that will last a lifetime.
From hand fabrication to sand-casting - every piece is hand made by me in my studio space in Northern Ireland.
